This 100-page community-driven cookbook is a love letter to Dayton told through recipes, photographs, and the stories of the people who make them. Within its pages are heirlooms passed down through generations, handwritten recipe cards softened by time, and modern favorites that have already earned a place at the table.
Spanning more than a century of baking in the Miami Valley, From Dayton, With Love celebrates the everyday kitchens that built this city’s character. From heritage cookies brought from Portugal and India, to simple cakes and pies shared at church socials and neighborhood gatherings, these are the bakes that have shaped family traditions and connected communities. It’s a tribute to home, to memory, and to the recipes that remind us who we are.
