These are rare, antique John Edwards Fenton earthenware dinner plates. The pattern displays a brown transfer printed floral and leaf design accented in hues of blue and orange on a white field. Each piece bears the maker’s mark to the underside, indicating production during the late 19th century.

Because these plates are over 100 years old, there are variations in patina. If you are looking for very crisp, white plates, this would not be an ideal purchase. But, if you love (like I do) the aging, very slight chipping, and personality of ‘old’ things, these could be perfect for you.

Price reflects a set of 6, 10” dinner plates.
